Technical Committee
The Aggregate and Quarry Association's Technical Committee provides technical advice to users of aggregates on the most suitable products. It provides technical comment on any proposals relating to the extraction, testing, and use of aggregates. It monitors and advises on the development of new aggregate products and uses of aggregates in new construction products or specifications.
The Technical Committee's strategy is to develop relationships with aligned industry groups with a view to greater collaboration and knowledge. It maintains regular liaison with other organisations, associations and government agencies involved in the extraction, testing and use of aggregates This is supported by the inclusion of members from external agencies and AQA representation on allied external committees.
